with Simone Prouty's creation of Simone's Seventh Veil and later, Diane Chope's
development of Aalim Dance Academy in 1987, St. Louis has seen a long line of highly skilled professional belly dancers that continue to showcase the grace, beauty and complexity of this art form.

 

The St. Louis Belly Dance website image was created to celebrate the many dancers that make the dance scene what it is today.
